Unwanted TV & Monitor Removal Throughout Chicagoland From Vet Tech
You can help U.S. Military veterans and your local community by recycling your unwanted TV or computer monitor with VetTech. All proceeds go directly to help veterans with training and job placement programs.
For a $25 donation to Vet Tech US per TV or computer monitor, you may drop off your unwanted TV or computer monitor at one of our VetTech Centers. For large screen TV (40″ or larger), consoles, and rear projection TVs a $45 donation is required.
To recycle your unwanted TV or monitor, please do the following:
- Click on the Donation Button in the right sidebar on any page and make a $25 donation, or for 40″ or larger TV a $45 donation
- Call the Vet Tech recycling phone line at 708-533-5464 to schedule a drop-off at one the centers listed below

Lansing Training Center, 2755 Bernice Road, Lansing IL
Rockdale Veteran Center, 936 Moen Ave, Rockdale IL
The Wheaton VFW Post 2164, N731 Papworth St. in Wheaton
Alert: No unit will be accepted before or after the listed hours of operation. The Training Facility is monitored 24 hours a day 7 days a week and illegal dumping carries substantial penalty under Illinois state law.
You will receive a coupon in the amount of your donation in exchange for your donation which can be used to purchase quality rebuilt computers. Your coupon can be redeemed by clicking into our online store featuring rebuilt computer equipment.
For those located within our service area we will arrange a curbside pickup of your old unwanted television or computer monitor right outside your home for a $50 donation per unit to our VetTech programs. Our service area includes a 25 mile radius from our Lansing IL Training Center.
